What Is A "Flat-fee" Listing?

If you read the 'about us' section then you probably have a pretty good idea of what the ValueList Flat-Fee Listing is. If you haven't read that section, check it out. It will tell you a little bit about ValueList and our history.

The ValueList 'Flat-fee' listing program is unique to the St. Louis real estate market.  It works like this; Whereas a conventional real estate company generally charges a percentage Map Of St. Louis Areacommission (generally in the 6-7 percent range) to sell a residential piece of real estate in St. Louis, ValueList only charges a 'Flat-fee' for the listing side of the commission.   3. Fields all telephone calls regarding the property.
  4. If desired, ValueList will hold your home open a reasonable number of times (Any accompanying newspaper advertising is the responsibility of the home owner.)
  5. Shows the property to prospective purchasers.
  6. Sets appointment for other real estate agents.
  7. Helps to negotiate all offers on the property.
